Who am I?

Claire Brockton…..

Family and travel are my loves, but throughout I’ve always maintained a huge passion for my career.

I have 20 years experience, working predominantly in Bath salons.

I originally learnt my craft at a leading salon in the city, training in Aveda colour and taking inspiration from some amazing hair artists.

Cutting the Vidal Sassoon way…. all about precision and shapes.

My passion for cutting and styling hair grew when I enrolled at Mahogany in London and completed my foundation degree.

Working in other salons allowed me to gain further experience. In recent years i’ve learnt new colouring techniques and been part of the Aveda education days.

Over the last 8 years, having a family has coincided with work and after Covid, I reached a chapter in my life where I felt the time was right for me to open my own salon.

As I mentioned before, constantly breathing in toxic fumes with colour and experiencing various autoimmune responses I felt it safer to look into a more natural product with fewer health risks. Which brought me to Natulique.

During lockdown I spent time researching and doing online seminars with Natulique. I learnt all about and their natural organic hair products and colour systems.

The learning never ends, the hair industry is always changing and that’s what keeps it fresh and interesting.

What I love most about my craft is that it gives me the freedom to express my creativity and I love the space that gives.

I’m so proud of The Hair Garden…. it provides a chilled space for you to come and relax, whilst I do what I love.
